Actually this car was based on the regular Lamborghini Countach LP400, but Walter Wolf was able to convince the factory to loan him a prototype 5-Liter engine, hence the LP500S designation of this specific model.
Wolf insisted on mounting the then new Pirelli P7 ultra low profile tires on his car, at the rear in massive 345mm width which required extra wheel arch extensions to be mounted, which were finished in high gloss black on this car.
This was also one of the first times a rear wing was installed on the Countach, an option that would only become available much later at the factory.
Note that Walter Wolf first owned a white Countach and later replaced this red car with a light blue one, again heavily customized naturall.
