When Lamborghini finally unveiled their new V12 flagship, the hybrid Revuelto, it didn’t take MR too long to announce its 1/18 scale model on the website. I placed a pre-order for the new Raging Bull in March of 2023, and started waiting for it to arrive. But that wait took long ... very long.
I actually ordered MR item LAMBO058A, the official press release color combination of Arancio Apodis on a Nero Ade interior, and it took more than a year to finally receive my scale model in August of 2024, and judging from the certificate that came with it, the model itself wasn’t even produced until July 2024, and while we usually see production runs of 399 units on the more regular MR Lamborghini models, this one only got 249 units.
So it really tested my patience this time, but the model itself is great, I’ve heard about QC issues on these Arancio Apodis Lamborghini Revuelto from MR, but my unit is as perfect as can be, I couldn’t find any major issues with it, the color combination and options on this scale model are exaclty the same as on the factory press car.
An exterior in Arancio Apodis, a new orange paint specifically developed for the first V12 hybrid production model from Sant’Agata, the interior comes with the standard comfort seats (back in 2023, the optional carbon fiber sport seats weren’t available yet) and is finished in the Contrast Color Trim option combining Naro Ade with Arancio Apodis to match the exterior, naturally complete with orange Raging Bull logos on the headrests, orange stitching and piping on the seats and the stunning Q-Citura hexagon pattern on the seats and door panels.
Wheels on this scale model are the correct Altanaro forged ones in shiny black, 21-inch at the front, massively wide 22-inch at the rear, covering Nero Lucido brake calipers and carbon ceramic brake discs, while both the upper exterior carbon and the lower exterior carbon package have been added to the option list too, there is a lot of shiny carbon fiber weave visible on the outside of this Lamborghini Revuelto.
I might have gotten a little frustrated having to wait so long for this model to arrive, and I might have asked my dealer about it a few times to many, but in the end I’m very happy with this model in my collection, sure it’s a sealed resin model, but with AUTOart production really taking their time, I wonder if we’ll ever see an AUTOart Lamborghini Revuelto at all, it hasn’t been officially announced yet anyway, so I’m not keeping my hopes up on that one, if I’m honest.
