I love the Lamborghini Countach, it was this car that got me interested in Lamborghini cars back in the Eighties, so whenever I see a scale model being listed of this iconic model from Sant'Agata, I try to add it to the collection.

This green Lamborghini Countach LP400 was no different, I like the original narrow-body model, and this green shade over a tobacco interior looks period-correct for the era, so it drew my attention online.

This is a 1/64 scale model from Tomica, but it's not from their regular line, this is a limited edition model they call 'Tomica Vintage Neo', and while they are very nicely detailed, and on the Countach you can open the doors and the engine cover ... these come with a substantial premium when compared to a regular Tomica 1/64 scale model.

I don't have any number on how many of these have been made, there is no numbering or anything whatsoever, and the entire box, complete with an inlay is in Japanese (I think), so I can't even read it anyway.

Also note that Tomica does include tiny exterior rear view mirrors you can add to this model to make it even more accurate, but I just left those alone, I like this model, and I guess it might become more valuable over time, but for now I'm quite happy keeping it 'factory original'.
