A lot has been going on about the new 1/18 scale Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce made by AUTOart ... being a composite model instead of a diecast model, lots of collectors have also been complaining about issues with their models ... well, I have to admit I was a bit afraid to order another shade after my New Giallo Orion one was as perfect as could be.

I specifically wanted to add the yellow Aventador Superveloce by AUTOart because it was an exact replica of the car I have seen in real life at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, without SV decal on the side and with the black brake calipers ... and you know I love to add the original show car or the one used for the initial press release ... AUTOart decided not to make a Rosso Bia edition as seen in the press release, but that's mainly because Kyosho already offered that ... and while certainly not at the same level of detail, I'm quite happy with my Kyosho made Rosso Bia Superveloce.

Now I've heard a lot of good things about both the orange metallic and the LeMans blue editions of the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce made by AUToart, but I already have so many orange metallic Bulls that I tended more towards the Blu LeMans version, especially as it came with red center locks and red suspension springs ... only issue was the price ... these AUTOart Superveloce don't come cheap.

A fellow collector contacted me with some amazing news ... an online shop was offering a 30% discount on all AUTOart models in stock ... and behold ... I managed to order the very last Blu LeMans Superveloce they had in stock, what a stroke of luck.

A few days later the box arrived, and I carefully opened the box to unveil ... another perfect sample of the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce by AUTOart ... both doors closed and opened as they should, the front hood was nicely fitted with similar gaps on both sides, the engine cover sits perfectly ... There are no flaws on this amazing looking Blu LeMans Superveloce ... I couldn't be happier.

The only small item that could have made me even happier would have been a large SV logo, all the Kyosho models come with the small logo, the yellow AUTOart one doesn't have a logo at all (as it should, I love it like this) ... but that also means I don't have a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce with a large SV logo on the side yet (sure I modified my white Kyosho one and put a large SV decal on it I found on eBay).

Some sources state the blue Lamborghini Countach Quattrovalvole from Kyosho is also finished in Blu LeMans ... but side by side the shade just isn't the same,  but did you know back in 1995 Lamborghini showed the Diablo SV in Blu LeMans with a large, red SV logo on the side ... now 22 years later that same shade has become popular again on the latest SV evolution ...

Too bad the AUTOart Lamborghini Diablo SV is finished in a darker shade of metallic blue, it would have been amazing if they used Blu LeMans on the Diablo SV too ... would make a perfect pair side by side ... I wasn't too sure about it at first, but having this shade on the Aventador Superveloce in my collection now has made me love it ... this is a very, very nice shade on this Lamborghini.
