The Sterrato variant is Lamborghini's rugged, off-road version of the Huracan Evo, featuring a raised ride height, widened track, fender flares, roof rails, fog lamps, and rally-style accents. The Top Speed model faithfully captures all these touches on a 1:18 scale, from the sculpted bodylines to the all-terrain wheel/tire combo, and the distinct roof rack and optional fog lamps mounted on the front bumper.

This is the Bianco Asopo version, but they also offer a Blu Aegir finished version, but I was specifically interested in this glossy white version anyway, to pair with my Verde Gea Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato from MR in the same scale, so I can compare a €400 model with a Top Speed model less than half that amount.

The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato by Top Speed

Both this Top Speed and the MR Sterrato are sealed resin models, nothing opens, but we do expect high-quality resin casting with sharp edges, smooth paint and nicely 'edged' black fender extensions ... and while the MR surely delivers just that, this Top Speed does lack a little when it comes to the finer details of this model.

The edges between the black fender extensions and the white paint just aren't that nicely defined on the Top Speed model, the door seams, door handle and any other 'indent' on the body don't look crisp either, don't get me wrong, all the details are present, but just not as nicely done as on the MR release.

And that continues on the interior. Although this is a sealed model, you can still see the carbon-fiber lightweight seats through the windows, complete with carbon-fiber decals. The same applies to the dashboard, steering wheel, and central console with the large LCD screen; everything is present, but it's all lacking just a touch of extra attention to detail.

Same story with the wheels, tires, and brake disk/calipers combination, it's just not up there when you take a closer look at them, I would even state that this is barely above the GT Spirit level of quality, and those are around the €100 mark, this Top Speed is twice as expensive, but it sure isn't twice as nice.

So there you have it, the new Top Speed 1/18 scale Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato in Bianco Asopo with '63' livery. It looks nice on the shelf, from a distance, I do like the combination of a white body with black extensions and roof, complete with red pinstriping, but the moment you look closer, you'll start noticing the flaws of this model, and at €200, it's just not worth it. I managed to add this to the collection during a 20% discount, so I ended up paying less than €170 for it, but I still feel that's a little too much if I'm being honest.

What I do have to add to this review is the amazing packaging Top Speed did on this Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato model. It comes in a brown cardboard outer box, which is foam-lined on all sides, inside is the black Top Speed box with the model fixed to a large plinth. You'll have to pry away the foam bottom of that plinth to reach the screws to remove the model, so packaging is top-notch from Top Speed.
