When Automobili Lamborghini SpA finally introduced their Huracan successor at Pebble Beach in August of 2024, they didn’t just release one color on their press car, they had two rather different versions of the new Lamborghini Temerario for the world to see, both finished in new, dedicated colors for the Temearior, the lightweight Alleggerita Package one finished in Verde Mercurius and the standard version finished in a very classic Blu Marinus over what I think is a Terra Emilia leather interior in Classica Ad Personam trim, rolling on Velador Forged wheels in a very nice Diamond cut gloss black finish.

With 910 hp from the twin-turbo V8 engine and multiple electric motors, the new Lamborghini Temerario will probably outrun just about any factory original V10 Lamborghini Huracan, but from what I understand, not a single customer car has been delivered at the time of writing. First deliveries are said to happen in early 2026, which is a pity, as we’ve been able to buy scale cars of this new Lamborghini Temerario for a while now, either from Bburago at the low end, or from MR at the high end, and that’s exactly what I did, I got both versions from MR for my collection.

The Verde Mercurius Alleggerita version is item LAMBO062A from MR, limited to 199 units, while this Blu Marinus release is item LAMBO062B from MR, and get this, only 99 units of this blue model, making it twice as rare as the green metallic lightweight edition, a rather odd choice from MR marketing, probably the more aggressively styled Alleggerita version got more pre-orders compared to the more basic looking blue version.

I do like the classic looks of this Blu Marinus over Terra Emilia Lamborghini Temerario, the warm brown interior suits this matt blue metallic paint very nicely, and while Lamborghini went for plain black brake calipers, the diamond cut wheels work nicely on this color, you don’t always need black wheels on every car in your garage, sometimes a more classic silver wheel is just perfect.

And MR did a great job capturing that satin gloss over the metallic particles of this blue shade, the paint seems to have been applied flawlessly on my model, with a nice ‘sheen’ over the entire car that, depending on the light, even shifts to a purple hue ever so slightly, personally I would still go for a Bianco Canopus if I would order this car, but I have to admit Blu Marinus does look really nice too.
