As a matter of fact I never even seen a Lamborghini Gallardo Performante in real life up to now, so getting this amazing looking scale model was a nice experience, a friend of mine who also collects Raging Bull models (but mostly in 1/43 scale) managed to get hold of the white version made by Looksmart, which I really like to be honest.

But I wasn't able to locate one so I went for this bright yellow metallic shade instead, very nice too, and this shade is also a very limited production run, only 20 would be made like this, so the collecting value sure was equally as high as the white version, and at the price listed it wasn't too high so I went for it.

Naturally Looksmart models are very detailed, and this Performante is no exception, all the nice little details are present that put this Spyder apart from the regular model, actually the Gallardo LP570-4 Performante is the Superleggera version of the LP560-4 Spyder so to say, naturally the same spoilers and wheels from the Superleggera are there to make this convertible look even more menacing.

Looksmart made yet another very nice Lamborghini model in the small 1/43 scale, I can't wait for someone out there to build a decent 1/18 version of the Gallardo Performante, but as we are all still waiting for the LP570-4 Superleggera by AutoArt I think we'll be in for a very long wait before we see a decent large scale Performante ... and what's even more troublesome ... AutoArt doesn't even build the normal Gallardo Spyder, never has in fact.

So for now I'll have to admire this 1/43 scale model of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Performante ... which isn't too bad after al now is it ?
