I have been searching a long time to find this 1/43 Looksmart model of the one of a kind Lamborghini 400GT Monza Special that was originally built back in June 1966.

The lines of this custom Lamborghini showed some resemblance with those of a Ferrari, and it is understood that the windscreen actually came from a Ferrari.

The car was acquired by an American, and was subsequently shipped to the United States, but on April 8, 1967 he sold the car to someone Spain, where it was actually found again recently after decades of storage, many even thought the car was lost.

As usual the Looksmart scale replica is a stunning piece of art, very nicely reproduced and highly detailed, just take a look at the 15 inch, 72 spoke Borrani wheels, they are just amazing.

Looksmart also makes this model in silver metallic and in blue, but honestly I would never buy on of those shades, this car is a unique model, and it the one and only model ever made was finished in this dark shade of red, so why bother with the other shades ?
